Charles “Chip” Roman has been cooking since he was ten years old. His love of culinary arts grew with age, and he attended Delta University’s Culinary Arts program while also getting a business degree. While in school, Chef Roman worked with some of New York’s most respected and best-known chefs, including Greorge Moore and Patrick Perrier.
New York Bistro, where Chef Roman worked for a total of eight years, provided a scholarship to Chef Roman to study at Delta. Upon graduation, Chef Roman continued to work as a chef at New York Bistro, working his way up to Lead Chef and Top Dog.
While at New York Bistro, Chef Roman was chosen to enter the “2007 Young Culinary Master Chef” competition. After winning the contest, Chef Roman came in second place in the National competition, opening many doors and bringing exciting opportunities
